Senticon expands room controller range

  • 07.09.2023

Senticon expands room controller range with new BACnet ModbusTCR04 and QCR04 Room Temperature and CO2 Controllers. They provide accurate temperature control combined with possibility for air quality control by monitoring room CO2 levels with built-in CO2 sensor. The controllers feature a large colour LCD and easy to use buttons for adjusting the setpoint and fan speed.

The new controllers expand the Senticon's comprehensive room solutions range. As always with our design philosophy, the products have been developed both the end user and the installers in mind. Simplicity, smart look and high quality are important part of the design. The products offer many features that guarantee fast and reliable installation. These include 60V fault protected 485 network, preventing damages to the devices during the wiring. Easy entry for cables. Bit switches for address and baud rate selection. Robust enclosure. Scratch proof glass fronted display. Easy and consistent tools for programming via Bluetooth or serial connection. Tools include Windows and Mobile Phone/Tablet versions. Full programmability over BACnet and Modbus. These make the products as engineers choice!

For designers the products offer reliable and well thought control functionality from industry experts. The features include:-

- Built-in temperature and CO2 measurement

- 2 x Universal Inputs (remote NCT10 sensor, 0-10V input for e.g. duct CO2, digital input e.g. for door entry card)

- 3 x Analogue 0-10V outputs for valves and dampers, including flexible 6-way valve control logic

- 3 x 24Vac triac outputs allowing use of cost effective thermic wax actuators for heating and cooling

- 4-stage temperature PI control (heating/cooling) with asymmetric deadzones for high energy efficiency

- CO2 temperature control for room air quality. Combine with temperature control for Max VAV control

- EC Fan Control with best in class control logic with timed fan start etc. functions

- And many .. consult out technical literature for further details
